Working hand-in-hand with large, multi-disciplinary user groups clients are taken through intense, hands-on workshops to identify process waste and to think creatively about opportunities to streamline operational flow. Blue cottage works with clients to understand opportunities for service efficiencies and how these improvements inform departmental, programmatic, design of space, facilities, and service line relationships (on campus and in buildings). To define solutions, the approach takes advantage of rapid assessment and discussion where all appropriate groups are represented for a condensed version of future state definitions using current state analysis as the launching point. The outcome of the rapid review and development is a strong vision of where the organization wants to go with key steps, goals, and objectives.
