These sessions with vendors allow Blue Cottage teams to leverage operational planning and plan for specialty moves such as lab specimens or sterile supplies. This process also includes special coordination directly with medical equipment suppliers to move large, expensive items such as robotics. Project teams create milestone schedules, planning for consolidation of units prior to the move, review and completion of licensure and certifications, and management of activities from the command center the day of the move. The management of these services enables Blue Cottage to provide clients with the full continuum of transition planning to ensure goals are streamlined and met across all operations and each facility.
