There are two aspects to patient communication and engagement, and we help guide health systems in both. The first happens during the programming process, when we’re planning a hospital design. We gather input from patients and advocates on everything from room design to parking lot layout. The second revolves around helping health systems communicate effectively with patients, by developing educational strategies to improve compliance and get patients more engaged with their own care.
