With a strong skill set in enhancing operational effectiveness, Chris applies a data driven approach to anticipate future patient demand and capacity requirements. In doing so, he is able to bridge the gap between strategic thinking and facilities planning. Chris is dedicated to working as part of a team, often in a project management role leading work group, steering committee or executive sessions. As an integrator of Lean practices, Chris looks to identify opportunities and implement operational enhancements to improve the care delivery process. He is experienced in operational modeling, forecasting clinical services, and applying and testing creative solutions. He takes a long-term view of what healthcare systems can do today to maximize asset longevity through assessing a health system’s portfolio and developing strategic plans to optimally deploy resources. Before joining Blue Cottage, he worked with Jones Lang LaSalle, Resurrection Health Care, and Presence Health St. Joseph Hospital. Chris received his Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Professions from Grand Valley State University. He also received Lean certification from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
