Juliet is a futurist, strategist, and healthcare visionary. As a passionate public health advocate, she has dedicated her career to transformational work focused on improving access, performance, and operations of the healthcare system. She’s driven by the belief that great care should be available to everyone, which is reflected in her relentless pursuit of value creation in healthcare. The firm Juliet founded, Blue Cottage Consulting, specializes in a whole-brain approach to healthcare planning, facility design, operational improvement, strategic positioning, and executive coaching for healthcare professionals. Through this and her other endeavors, Juliet is recognized for her work with large, complex health systems and safety-net academic medical centers throughout North America. By building trust and creating long-term relationships, Juliet leads healthcare systems through the process of strategic change management, from concept to execution and beyond. She’s exceptional at helping executive leadership analyze their system’s operations data and develop a strategic road map to achieve valuable outcomes. Juliet served in an operational leadership position at the University of Michigan Health System for a decade and she is a three-time University of Michigan graduate. She is also a tenure track faculty member of the university’s graduate school of public health and serves as a board member for the university’s Griffith Leadership Center in Health Management & Policy. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation.
