Knowledge - Infographics
Given the many ins and outs of the healthcare industry, it can often be a challenge to effectively present the overload of information. Using the latest in research and trends, Blue Cottage team members develop infographics with visuals and content that quickly and clearly answer complex issues in healthcare. Below is a listing of infographics recently created by Blue Cottage team members.

Members of the Blue Cottage team recently prepared an infographic that illustrates how health systems can use US News & World Report rankings for strategic planning, benchmark analysis and future goal setting. It should be noted that this specific approach is based on rankings for pediatric health systems, which is substantially different than rankings used for adult acute care hospitals.

Members of the Blue Cottage team recently prepared an infographic that illustrates best practices for addressing chronic disease.

The current health system is designed for acute care, and yet much of the growth in healthcare demands is in chronic illness. Chronic illness may trigger acute care needs when the illness is not managed well. A system needs to be designed that can optimize the health status of those living with chronic illness today while working to reduce the incidence and prevalence of chronic illness tomorrow. The ‘system’ change required to do this goes beyond healthcare and well into community, employers, education, and nutrition sources.
